Thonet chair, model 811, designed by Michael Thonet and Josef Hoffmann for Ligna. Czech Republic, 1970s. Steam-bent wood assembled with screws without gluing. Finished in honey color, with a very bright golden effect. The hand-woven grids with plant fibers, strand by strand, are interlaced in a handcrafted manner, with the philosophy of well-done work, where quality takes precedence over the speed of finishing. Our artisans require more than 20 hours per chair to complete the wooden frames.
